Mining Sumokoin: pool, wallet, soft

Sumokoin appeared quite recently in June 2017 and is based on the algorithms of the source code Monero, one of the most innovative and profitable coins, which is primarily known for its anonymity. But already now its mining is quite a profitable business (since it can be mined on a processor and a graphics card) and is about a $ 1,5 per day at a speed of 700 H/s.

By the way, this cryptocurrency is so encrypted that it practically has features of physical money, namely nobody can track where the coins were transferred and how many were transferred to this or that person.

To get started, download the wallet from the official site, where we are looking at the top “Download” tab, then we select the purse depending on your operating system. After running the downloaded .exe file and unpacking the wallet to the directory you need.

Important! When creating a wallet, 26 words are displayed, which are a mnemonic password to it, which you can use to restore it on another computer without transferring any files, which is quite convenient.

So I had a case where the hard on which was the wallet broke. As you understand the files from it did not work, so I already tested this function and it works.

Next, go to the “Receive” deposit, where we will see a long number, which is the address of our wallet, but do not close it yet, since we still need this expression.

If the purse is not synchronized, run it as administrator and it will all work.

One of the biggest pools for this coin is, besides, it sometimes shows a higher hash than it actually is. I’m using it You can search other related sites like

Soft and configuration

Since Sumokoin is based on the Cryptonight algorithm, we will mining the coin with a processor and a card.

Mining on CPU:

I use xmr-stak-cpu, since this program is fairly easy to configure and it does not fail.

First, open the folder with the miner and find the file “config”, then open through a text editor (notepad, visual studio or any other).

Next we find the lines:

"pool_address" : "",
"wallet_address" : "Sumoo2k6mPpdSb9gC8MaUdF1NwvMYh9wvF4iZaJ8hcfrEEoB5fVBtwsPk5HtDSutzk57LMWTqdLWA49LcBZNetreZRS3LB4geFu",
"pool_password" : "x",

And in the line “wallet_address” we substitute the value from the established purse.

The following picture should appear next:

To see the hashrate, press “h” on the keyboard (you need to change the layout language to English to work).

Mining on GPU:

For mining on the card, you can use xmr-stak-nvidia and xmr-stak-amd to start configuring them the same way for the processor.

Also for mining on the card, you can use Claymore’s CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7:

We configure it like this:

Open the folder with the program and look for the file “start.bat”, if it is not there then create it using a text editor.

Then paste the following lines of code into it:

@echo off
@echo on
NsGpuCNMiner -o stratum+tcp:// -u Sumoo2k6mPpdSb9gC8MaUdF1NwvMYh9wvF4iZaJ8hcfrEEoB5fVBtwsPk5HtDSutzk57LMWTqdLWA49LcBZNetreZRS3LB4geFu -p x -a 4 -h 512 -retrydelay 4 -ftime 45 -dbg -1 -mport 0 -allpools 1

Sumoo2k6mPpdSb9gC8MaUdF1NwvMYh9wvF4iZaJ8hcfrEEoB5fVBtwsPk5HtDSutzk57LMWTqdLWA49LcBZNetreZRS3LB4geFu – this value must be replaced with the address of your wallet.

Next, run the same file and the following picture should appear:

Now let’s check whether we have set up both miners correctly, for this we go to the pool site and at the top click on the “Home” button.

Below on the page we will see the section “Your Stats & Payment History” and below the empty field, it is in it that we insert our purse address and see the indicators:

True, they may not be displayed immediately, so wait at least 15-23 minutes. If not, check each character in the written code.

By the way, the Cryptopia exchange on which Sumo is traded does not support mining at once to the purse, so you need to mine on the local and from it already transfer to your stock exchange.

Mining Suimokoin after fork (heavy cryptonight)

At first you need download a new miner.

For AMD GPU follow the  developer`s link and downloading latest version.

Now open config.txt, “Cntrl+a” and insert the following lines:

/* Type can be : normal, normalv7, lite, litev7, heavy  */

“cryptonight_type” : “heavy”,

/* Intensity 0-> auto intensity, or value from 1-200  */

“intensity” : 13,

/* To use 2 threads per card set double_threads to true  */

“double_threads” : true,

/* Gpu target temperature, leave it on 0 if you don’t want to use this option  */

“target_temperature” : 0,

/* If you use a SSL/TLS encrypted pool set this to true*/

“pool_use_tls” : false,

/* Mining pool address WITHOUT the stratum+tcp:// or stratum+tls:// part  */

“pool” : “”,

/* Address of you wallet  */

“wallet” : “Sumoo2k6mPpdSb9gC8MaUdF1NwvMYh9wvF4iZaJ8hcfrEEoB5fVBtwsPk5HtDSutzk57LMWTqdLWA49LcBZNetreZRS3LB4geFu+460”,

/* Password for your wallet, probably just x  */

“password” : “x”,

/* Location for devfee servers, to get better latency  */

“location” : “europe”,

/* If you want to log console output, put a filename here  */

“log_file” : “”,

/* Charity mining, if you want to disable charity mining just delete these lines, or set values to “” (empty) */

/* You must use a pool with same type as the pool you are mining on, ex. if you are mining with heavy algo, charity */

/* pool must use the heavy algo too!!! */

/* Settings for each GPU manually */

/* Put in devices that you want to use, if you for ex. don’t want to use gpu 2, just don’t insert it,like in this example */

/* Id starts from 0 , not from 1 !! */

/* To get a list of available devices with their id’s, use –listdevices parameter */

/* This is just an example, edit it and remove comment lines !! */

/*”gpu_conf” :

         { “id” : 0, “intensity” : 0, “double_threads” : true},

         { “id” : 1, “intensity” : 60, “double_threads” : false},

         { “id” : 3, “intensity” : 50, “double_threads” : true},

         { “id” : 4, “intensity” : 0, “double_threads” : true},

Done, run start.bat file. You can check stats on pools site.

Just paste your address in empty field.
