Mining Sumokoin: pool, wallet, soft
Sumokoin appeared quite recently in June 2017 and is based on the algorithms of the source code Monero, one of the most innovative and profitable coins, which is primarily known for its anonymity. But already now its mining is quite a profitable business (since it can be mined on a processor and a graphics card) and is about a $ 1,5 per day at a speed of 700 H/s.
By the way, this cryptocurrency is so encrypted that it practically has features of physical money, namely nobody can track where the coins were transferred and how many were transferred to this or that person.
To get started, download the wallet from the official site, where we are looking at the top “Download” tab, then we select the purse depending on your operating system. After running the downloaded .exe file and unpacking the wallet to the directory you need.
Important! When creating a wallet, 26 words are displayed, which are a mnemonic password to it, which you can use to restore it on another computer without transferring any files, which is quite convenient.
So I had a case where the hard on which was the wallet broke. As you understand the files from it did not work, so I already tested this function and it works.
Next, go to the “Receive” deposit, where we will see a long number, which is the address of our wallet, but do not close it yet, since we still need this expression.
If the purse is not synchronized, run it as administrator and it will all work.
One of the biggest pools for this coin is pool.sumokoin.com, besides, it sometimes shows a higher hash than it actually is. I’m using it You can search other related sites like
Soft and configuration
Since Sumokoin is based on the Cryptonight algorithm, we will mining the coin with a processor and a card.
Mining on CPU:
I use xmr-stak-cpu, since this program is fairly easy to configure and it does not fail.
First, open the folder with the miner and find the file “config”, then open through a text editor (notepad, visual studio or any other).
Next we find the lines:
"pool_address" : "pool.sumokoin.com:3333",
"wallet_address" : "Sumoo2k6mPpdSb9gC8MaUdF1NwvMYh9wvF4iZaJ8hcfrEEoB5fVBtwsPk5HtDSutzk57LMWTqdLWA49LcBZNetreZRS3LB4geFu",
"pool_password" : "x",
And in the line “wallet_address” we substitute the value from the established purse.
The following picture should appear next:
Mining on GPU:
Also for mining on the card, you can use Claymore’s CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7:
We configure it like this:
Open the folder with the program and look for the file “start.bat”, if it is not there then create it using a text editor.
Then paste the following lines of code into it:
NsGpuCNMiner -o stratum+tcp://pool.sumokoin.com:3333 -u Sumoo2k6mPpdSb9gC8MaUdF1NwvMYh9wvF4iZaJ8hcfrEEoB5fVBtwsPk5HtDSutzk57LMWTqdLWA49LcBZNetreZRS3LB4geFu -p x -a 4 -h 512 -retrydelay 4 -ftime 45 -dbg -1 -mport 0 -allpools 1
Sumoo2k6mPpdSb9gC8MaUdF1NwvMYh9wvF4iZaJ8hcfrEEoB5fVBtwsPk5HtDSutzk57LMWTqdLWA49LcBZNetreZRS3LB4geFu – this value must be replaced with the address of your wallet.
Next, run the same file and the following picture should appear:
Now let’s check whether we have set up both miners correctly, for this we go to the pool site and at the top click on the “Home” button.
Below on the page we will see the section “Your Stats & Payment History” and below the empty field, it is in it that we insert our purse address and see the indicators:
True, they may not be displayed immediately, so wait at least 15-23 minutes. If not, check each character in the written code.
By the way, the Cryptopia exchange on which Sumo is traded does not support mining at once to the purse, so you need to mine on the local and from it already transfer to your stock exchange.
